Vertical variance in terrain makes AoE marker areas disappear

When fighting mobs in areas with variation in vertical elevation, the markers will often disappear below the ground, making them effectively invisible.

While not exactly the same, the AoE markers are hard to see when fighting in water as well. (like the Eft boss in Brayflox)
