    WARRIOR 2.1: LAMENTATION OF A PALADIN

    Welcome Paladins,

    Please post all things you feel are encroaching on your OP status as tanks from the warrior here. Also please do not forget to use a lot of math to back up your statements and wall of texts. Also talk about sword oath, because it makes sense to do so and mention dps a lot.

    Wasn't Warrior in 1.0 the go-to-tank and Paladin was the red headed stepchild?

    Probably but its just funny how everyone goes crazy.. it not like the tanking classes are less useful than the other, you still need both. It's like irrational QQing for no reason, children do this. Usually from ages 5-8 kids throw tantrums too.

    Hi OP, are you trying to lament for others? Why did you feel the need to make another thread in the Tank forums when you could join in on all the other Warrior 2.1 discussion threads?

    But for sake of example, let's look at proposed Holmgang vs. Hallowed Ground.

    Holmgang:
    * Lasts 6 seconds.
    * Warrior can be taken down to 1 HP, will require large amounts of healing if this scenario happens.
    * Warrior binds target and binds him/herself, cannot avoid AoEs.
    * Most bosses are immune to bind effects.

    Hallowed Ground
    * Lasts 10 seconds.
    * Paladin sustains no additional damage (e.g. not going to be brought to 1 HP).
    * Still mobile.

    The only advantage here is that the Warrior gets to scream Fusrohdah and Get Over Here.

    1) no but this is where one would do so if they feel the need to lament.
    2)I made another thread just like everyone else made another thread about how paladins should get a buff. Also for comedic reasons.
    3) sarcasm is difficult to translate via text but i figured it would of gone through since the post has "funny" tone to it. I also used the Holmgang vs Hollowed ground example, because it is currently being discussed over at the main post. There is an actual discussion saying that holmgang is better than hollowed ground and because of this paladins need a buff too.

    It's the ridiculousness of it all, i have a love/hate relationship with it. I love the troll factor and I hate what it does to the community.

    Youre missing that holmgang pulls the enemy to you now instead of binding both you and the target, we arent even sure if it binds at all anymore, it may just be provoke +1. not saying that one or the other is better.
