An Inner Beast that heals for 1500 is equivalent to the bonus healing received over the course of 20 seconds @ 2,396 healing per cast @ 2.5s per cast Had you held onto stacks.
After using Inner Beast the proceeding 20s regaining your buff is roughly equivalent to a consistent healing bonus of 7.8% (he uses 7%).
Meaning unless your incoming damage is exceeding ~960 DPS it is a gain to use your Inner Beast assuming no over heal in either scenario.

This. Assuming you time your Inner beast right, it never over heals and may save your life from the auto-attack following whatever spike you're trying to help with. Inner Beast is about healing NOW rather than healing later, which is what Wrath stacks are about. This game is about spikes, which is a large contributing factor to why Warrior damage is so much higher than Paladin on anything where you can't have 100% up time. This in spite of the fact that on paper, they should be about the same, with a slight edge going either way depending on whether you let Storm's Eye contribute to Paladin DPS.An Inner Beast that heals for 1500 is equivalent to the bonus healing received over the course of 20 seconds @ 2,396 healing per cast @ 2.5s per cast Had you held onto stacks.

Yeah I thought I wrote a response in agreement, turns out daily limit ate it.
I am not sure Warrior damage is much higher than a Paladin except by a small amount in tank stance.
