second thoughts on making a new char.

Hello,
I have a 47 DRG atm on Leviathan Server and i feel like playing support/range/magic class. I'm having second thoughts on making a second character. im not sure if i should make a new char on the same server or i should just get the healer job on my DRG.
If i do make a healer on my DRG which has Full STR attribute, then my healer would not be as effective as a full pledge healer. but then again, i could earn allagan tomes more effectively.

Each class has it's own attributes so when you change to healer you'll be able to set the attributes again.

Yes each class has its on attributes, so you can effectively have a drag and a WHM. Unfortunately i missunder stood "Job" for class and that doesnt work for SMN/SCH seeing they are both thm class

so the attributes will re-roll? thats very nice. would be nice if it also changes the character customization with every class. like if my DRG is Miqo'te then if i change to a healer, it would turn to a lalafel.

Any character can be all classes in this game. The only jobs that share attrubutes are Summoner and Scholar. Only because you can't change points with jobs, only classes. Also get the drg to 50. you'll be glad you did when the time comes to it. Why put in effort for 47 levels just to quit and be on the cusp of never seeing how a level 50 dragoon operates?

For the most part, racial bonuses do not affect your role. Here's a video explaining it, specifically comparing sunseekers and dunefolk: Youtube

The racial differences do not change from level 1, so at max level, it becomes even less relevant. Of course, there is nothing stopping you from creating an alt if you want a change in aesthetics or to min/max. I'm just saying it is not strictly necessary to do well and nobody will discriminate by asking only for lalafell healers outside of some weird RP reason or race-exclusive LS.

@Anova: thanks for the Video, it was very informative, now i know i dont have to make multiple character to play each and possibly every class out there.
