Is there any reason dragoons can't need on the dragoon usable mail that drops there? Missed both the helm and the chest today because I couldn't need them.

Because the stats probably did not match the stats the a DRG should be putting their points in.
A WHM won't be able to need unless the main stat on the piece is MND or unless the gear is specifically meant for WHM.

I think it's because designers decided to put Parry on some of mail gears for some reasons..... Just use the poacher's tunic like monks and bards. It has same str, same vit and critical hit rate to make up the lack in accuracy.
Edit: Hmm just looked at some lower level gears that DRG complained the couldn't roll need on. No parry. Still weird.
