Unfortunately I'm not on Famfrit (as I'm a Legacy player), but I can still point you in the right direction for finding a FC/ls on your server - the Famfrit section on the servers forum will be a good place to start looking: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/945-Famfrit as there are often lses and FCs advertising there for new members. Find one that you like or suits you the most.

    Anyway, have fun! That's what this game is about after all.
