    The problem in this whole "skill" wonderland is I can't think of a single scenario where the harder tank was the better tank for very long in the many mmo's I've played.

    Anyone else?

    DPS, it's easier, because you can give them procs. Tanks don't like procs because the class comes to depend on them and suddenly, fights end up hinging on procs. Procs for tanks need to be harmless if they don't happen like "Maim has a 20% chance to make your next overpower free.". If you raid an entire night and that never happens, no harm no foul, but if it was something like "Butcher's block has a 20% chance to slow the target", that starts to become something you want to see more, developers end up framing things with that in mind, etc.

    WHM has procs, but whm seems to play in a model where they cast the cure they need to, mp be damned, and cast Cure IIs when Freecure happens to proc. WHM's procs can change the course of the fight if they're having mp troubles, but it's less likely, especially with ballad available.

    Or include the fact that you can also prevent repel if you've got stoneskin slotted, save Tempered Will for the bees. Shouldn't need to use it more than once (either kill the wall or kill the bees before 2 phases are up). Wars can't do that.

    @Giantbane; I don't need to use any skill to avoid the wall repel I just use SE's servers. God knows how many times he cast repel only for me to stay in the same spot and continue fighting like nothing happened XD

    I thought about listing that but preventing the knockback from one Divebomb doesn't really strike me as particularly useful (I do it anyway just to say I used Tempered Will), and even if it were meaningful, one situation doesn't really mitigate the uselessness of the ability in the other 99% of your encounters.

    I also don't understand the purpose of using Tempered Will when the Gnats spawn, but then again, it's been a while since I've seen the wall live long enough to spawn them anyway.

    WARs (supposedly) completely underpowered and useless for 3 months. What do they do?
    They man the fuck up and take down the hardest content in the game.

    PLDs become supposedly underpower for a day or 2 (not even in-game yet, just analysis). What do they do?
    Bitch and whine and beg for buffs. Lol.
