Why are people not allowed to voice their discontent? If you are happy on a certain day does than mean no one else has a right to sadness? I am truly glad for the people who stop and smell the roses. I have my blm 50 and it's the only class i want to play. I have tried some others (and no for me their story lines didn't compel me to fate grind or dungeon them higher). So now i am a derping kid who doesn't appreciate content? I envy those with alts who are loving it but leveling those other chars i don't like to play is not what i am paying for.
But this isn't even about me or u, we all know people have different opinions. This is about the respect we need to give each other to voice it. How does trolling or derision help the op or anyone who feels that way.
Kids, old people, casuals, hardcore: Try empathy it's what we all lack these days.
TBH, I just think that this is a topic that there is no use complaining about. The only thing that will fix it is time. Quality content takes time to develop. The rest is the repeatable stuff that the OP and others such as yourself don't want to do.I believe just because someone's opinion differ yours, does not make them wrong.
You think there's alot to do, but I don't. That doesn't make no one wrong, we just have different opinions about how the game is.
Because lately, the moment someone has something to say about this game, people usually get really rude generic posts.
I went at this game at a pretty slow pace. I have no real interests in any other job but DRG, but tell me how it is fun to
FATE grind your way there? I have to shout and wait hours for party. I can't stomach it, sorry.
My last few cents...some of you guys need to stop jumping on people who seriously does not agree with everything you say.
I feel like the game doesn't have much for us to do, outside crafting and fighting. That's just me though, but of course I'm wrong because as I said anything less of a praise of this game you're off to the stake.
I just can't wait for housing and other stuff. That'll keep me busy at least.
I'm an mmo vet and I skipped all the quest text, nothing wrong with that. However, having to look up how to beat a quest or encounter is pretty weak, especially in this game. Nothing this game throws at us is new and you should be able to figure out how to solve or beat any encounter with ease.
To be clear, there's nothing wrong with this per se; only in doing so and then complaining there's 'no content.' Quest text IS content, people put hard work into it, it's interesting and well done in this game, so why not actually read it, if you're looking for more content?I'm an mmo vet and I skipped all the quest text, nothing wrong with that. However, having to look up how to beat a quest or encounter is pretty weak, especially in this game. (not directed towards you personally, btw, but instead just a comment aimed towards the Perpetual Complaint crowd)
Leveling isn't content - Biggest misconception. The Content you get while leveling you do with your first main, those dungeons are one time use in the grand scheme of "how much content" exists. Class Quests are a means to an end to get abilities (otherwise most will forget they exist.)
The problem is that people use one-sided hyperbole to make their problem seem much worse than it is.
In this case, and as I pointed out in my first reply, the OP laid down a blanket statement (again, never a good idea) stating that anyone with 5+ hours a week to put into this game has completed everything this game has to offer.
Then the argument broke down to
"you haven't gotten everything to 50, so you haven't even done everything"
"not everyone likes to do all that stuff"
"just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't content"
After that it got fuzzy because those last two points are both perfectly valid and true points, because it just boils down to personal opinions. But it all stems from the blanket statement that suggested that everything the OP considers to be "valid" content is the ONLY "valid" content in the game, in order to make this seem like a horrible, all-encompassing problem for everyone and that it's just an absolute abomination and a travesty on SE's part.

Tell that to Hydra that killed me and my party 4 times.I'm an mmo vet and I skipped all the quest text, nothing wrong with that. However, having to look up how to beat a quest or encounter is pretty weak, especially in this game.
