This isn't a really big deal, but I found the lack of shields in the end game to be a little frustrating. I have the Holy Shield now, but I would have liked to be able to get Ifrit, Geruda, and Titan shields. Plus there's no shields in the Lightning quest.
With the vanity slots coming in 2.2 (last I checked), it'd be nice to have some epic looking options for that slot.
Obviously, this applies to the mages, too, but not as much as it does to Paladins, since we always have a shield.
