Theres some disorders out there that make people not like sex or even want sex (Asexual) but yeah apart from that... i think its pretty normal for people to love sex.

I think what they implies is that your characters will be visible as you log off with these emotes and that they do not want people to take inappropiate pictures of your character with theirs. I can be wrong but that would be a VERY good reason for this.

You can already take inappropriate screenshots using pretty much any of the emotes currently available in the game.

And I really dont understand why it matters if you take a suggestive picture of someone on game or not. Its not child porn for gods sake, its a bunch of pixels on a screen. Please remove chat from the game. I've seen bad behavior in it, and we clearly can't have content that people can abuse.

That or you could add doze freely anywhere in the game, and we'll make sure to simply report bad behavior. Seems better with reports than cutting everything out that someone might do something childish with.

We're glad you guys are excited for the new emote to use in Free Company Housing beds, and understand many of you want to use it elsewhere as well. However, the team has decided against the use of this emote in other places to prevent the taking of not especially appropriate screenshots. Likewise, the new emote cannot be used on Inn beds because lying down on that bed logs a player out of the game.

As long as it's being used for fun among friends and acquaintances, and not being used to harass others (which can just be reported anyway) why is it such a big deal?

Frankly, it feels almost invasive how the devs have taken "measures" to ensure we can't express ourselves in a way we want to.

Of course the reason is bogus anyway, just like half of the bile SE spews for excuses. So they likely just don't care enough to allow free range use of such emotes. Easier to deny 'em, hm hm. ♪
