We're glad you guys are excited for the new emote to use in Free Company Housing beds, and understand many of you want to use it elsewhere as well. However, the team has decided against the use of this emote in other places to prevent the taking of not especially appropriate screenshots. Likewise, the new emote cannot be used on Inn beds because lying down on that bed logs a player out of the game.

I'm honestly a bit dissapointed in reading this. Mostly for the reasons.
Because:
- The game is already rated for mature audiences
- Preventing people to have fun and fool around

I never expected a group of funny and entertaining developpers to suddenly pull the fun out of something. Because they're afraid that a small percentage of people might abuse it for funny screenshots. Give people fun stuff to do in their free time. Last thing you want to do is make people take the game even MORE seriously.

I think you should relook at the box of the game again. It's rated T for Teen, not M for Mature. So far the only "mature" content is tongue in cheek style stuff you'd see in any anime. Like the pugilist guildmaster enjoying watching kitty girls giggle and frolic in the lake, or whatever. Even the fate where you escort the courtesan is still clean in that the customer takes her on into a hut and you don't see either of them again till the fate respawns. But there's ERPers who prefer being way more graphic than SE ever intended. You don't blame the solution, you blame the problem that forced the solution.

I already mentioned that in my post you quoted. You never actually see the objectionable actions in game. Only the implied. Meanwhile, you got ERPers in the middle of cities making big scenes. So I cannot fault Square Enix for taking a hard stance against the stuff. And I have to commend them for making an effort to address this sort of stuff.

i no u mentioned it jsut felt like sharing how its not.. just words.. i mean u program that stuff into a game and than tell us we cant do things with the things tehy give us. if they think the laydown is stopping anyone from making "dirty" picks there funny. PLus with the lack of content ppl need something fun to do. Giving fake blowjobs or kissing faces while waiting around is all in good fun and keeps ppl enjoying the game when most are bored outta there mind.

I don't play these games to see the sick perverted minds of kids. I play the game for rp, and story and to have fun. If them people want to get their kicks, they can take it to the player housing out of sight of everyone else. You and a few others might not like the solution, but the fact is, this behavior is a real problem and shouldn't be encouraged. If they need to get off to virtual characters doing things like that, there's plenty of sites that offer them that content. There's even mmo games devoted to that stuff.

I know that you're still scarred from your apparent interactions with Moon Guard, but seriously, if you'd just not gone to Goldshire, you wouldn't have had a problem. BTW, WyrA's Goldshire was just as bad before CRZ.

This game has plenty of perverted references in it already. A sleep emote isn't going to change that, and it isn't going to prevent "inappropriate screenshots." And ERP is still going to happen no matter what you do.

SE's content is rated Teen. Online content is not rated. Therefore any inappropriate posing that is done by the players, SE is not responsible for and doesn't fall under the Teen rating.
