So Bayohne posted this yesterday.

I really, really want to be happy about this. You have no idea how happy I want to be about it. My happiness will increase if it's truly a toggle like /sit and not just a very brief animation like the normal /doze.

But.

Well, two things.

One: Why restrict it to beds? And, if the wording is to be believed, only beds in FC housing? This is absurd. Make a /sleep emote and let us do it anywhere! Hopefully the wording is just poor and it really is usable in any bed, regardless of whether or not it's in an FC house.

Which brings me to two: That lala is clearly sleeping. The miqo'te on the other hand? "Teehee, look how sexy and fetishized I am whilst I daydream about probably inappropriate things my user wants to do with me!" Seriously. Why can't we just have a /sleep with the same animation you get when falling asleep in an inn room? While I'm sure everyone enjoys playing with emotes, the people who are going to make the most out of animations are roleplayers, so why deliberately create an animation that limits roleplay and/or forces players to severely break immersion by having to use a pose that really doesn't fit the situation, much less their character? A simple laying down animation is neutral and can work for everyone.

I hate this feeling that I'm constantly having to settle for not quite what we should have just because this is pretty much the only pay-to-play MMO out there that isn't WoW. I want to be completely, utterly in love with XIV, and I want to be thrilled over a sleeping emote. But I can't with it like this!

I'm sure folk are gonna call me a whiner, but... this is my honest feedback. I'm sorry.
