30cm is a bit of an exaggeration but the "ideal" image for women is having legs where thighs don't touch. Just talk to lululemon designers, they basically said their pants are designed for women who's thighs don't touch. And, if your thighs touch you need to stop eating cheeseburgers and go to the gym more (according to their marketing team.)
look like they'd fit Lightning well.

Lightning is skinny, has been every title. That's just the way she's built. Not sure what the point of this thread is really.
If it makes you feel any better though they've given her a boob job for LR...
Lightning Returns
Early Stage anorexic
Healthy professional Gymnast
Note thighs touching
and SE is trying to sell Lightning as strong female back flipping warrior...
EDIT:
Lighting doesn't one of these either

Forum Lurker Extraordinaire.
Like a good stalker, I'm always there.
I think the entire point is that everyone's aware she's always been thin, but that her ARR version seems more like they used a starving child in Africa as the model. I have no problem personally with the typical jRPG build, but I wonder who at SE looked at that specific model and said, "It looks good, ship it.". They really ought to be fired.
Wow. No. No no no no. The "thigh gap" is a horrid teenage fantasy that fuels eating disorders. The only way for the majority of women to have that thigh gap is to completely redo their skeletal structure. And if you just so happen to have hips wide enough for it, you have to go for legs that are barely more than skin, bone, and tendon. It has nothing to do with not eating cheeseburgers or going to the gym. Please, can we not perpetuate the thigh gap myth on this forum? It's 100% unhealthy.30cm is a bit of an exaggeration but the "ideal" image for women is having legs where thighs don't touch. healthy legs touch each other unless your legs are crooked. Skinny legs with no muscle whatsoever are not healthy at all
Well, in his defense, he was saying that the particular designers/marketing team think that is the "ideal" image (he used quotes around that to show he doesn't necessarily believe it). Really, he wasn't advocating the thigh gap, but was just saying that fashion seems to do so.Wow. No. No no no no. The "thigh gap" is a horrid teenage fantasy that fuels eating disorders. Anyone who likes a body that resembles a prepubescent boy is questionable imo >.>
