Lightning event ending

It indeed was a little dramatic but then she goes and says "Maybe ill see you again in another world blah blah *wink* " which I think is a subtle hint that youll see her again when you buy Lightning Returns.
Which I dont mind by the way since that's the whole point of this event.

I'd rather it be found in the core of Eorzea's lore. (Like finding out that Atomos's arrival before the Calamity did something to the fabric of Eorzea's reality and made it more prone to visitation from other realms, or something like that.)

i remember clearly Lahabrea saying that the dimensional rift was opened and it was too late for stop it. if the Asciens can come from the void or wherever they come from....
anyone can... random rift can open in different world without reason... the universe can be meany

Now if SE can find a way to have my character make a cameo appearance in Lightning Returns, then we may be on to something. I do like how they explained the miqo'te outfit though. The ending was nice.

It was a cheap barely thought out excuse. She couldve landed anywhere and had the same illuminating experience. Eorzea really had nothing to do with her story except hey this place is nice! Hell the foes she fought were even her own. The story was probably drafted out on a napkin one night while the devs were drinking.

You'll never question the "They randomly dropped characters in a world they don't belong to" again. And yet, it made sense.

The flaw of a weak story is more apparent if you try to explain it. Nobody asked why Cloud Strife and Sephiroth showed up in Kingdom Hearts. They're literally just there (Cloud in theory made a deal with Hades, but it's not like anyone really cares) and that's probably the best explanation. Further, both figures are legendary figures in their genre so their presence masks whatever flaws in the story to begin with.

Lightning, on the other hand, is a relatively lightweight, but for some reason SE seems to think she's already more populated than Cloud and Sephiroth put together.
