why can we dye all gear???

Your title actually says "why CAN we dye all gear", but that aside.

I think there are enough color options. There are multiple shades for every different color.
As for dying rare gear... while a part of me would like to dye some rare gear or even my AF gear I am fine with things the way they are. These sets are special after all, and not being able to dye them adds to that.

The AF is "Special" thats why everyone one in your class runs around looking identical. I think being able to dye AF and AF+1 gear would be a great idea to individualize to your specific taste instead of having every other person wearing the same gear look alike

Would love to dye af and dungeon gear AND need the ability to dye both primary and secondary colors. Always having a portion of each piece remain the original color is too limiting imo.
