He mentions that 2.1 was delayed 1 month b/c of server congestion and initial release was November. Does that mean now they r back on track will we be getting 2.2 in February instead if March. Or will the one month delay continue as is and have a chance to further that delay with problems with 2.1. Thoughts?

Branch development means one branch won't effect another branch (not true, but that's theoretically) so 2.1 delayed 4 weeks does not mean 2.2 is not on track.

This is because the "trunk" is going at it's own rate and a "branch" is a freeze in features to be used.

Of course man power isn't free, and manpower taken to fix the server is manpower lacking from 2.1 which is of course manpower taken from the "trunk" and 2.2

Theoretically it averages out, and a 4week wait on 2.1 is a 2 week wait on 2.2, and 1week wait on 2.3, etc, as things catch up to speed.

Finally, if they're smart, they would be hiring people (with all the revenue they got) to get back on schedule.
