Myth gear being on the same gear tier as Allagan is a good alternative to farming coil but it should still be coveted and be relatively tedious to get, not easier and faster.
They do that so new players can catch up faster, by the time 2.1 is released everyone should be fully decked already.
So I still fail to see the problem with that.
