He's also been part of other projects for a few other games for another company (Hudson Soft on the Bomberman series IIRC) and unlike Tanaka, he actually cares about what we think.

True, but we have not seen anything out of the ordinary either, sure he asked a few questions, that anybody could have asked in his shoes( I mean really anybody knew the battle system was bad, and the game lacked content) i guess we'll have to see next patch to see if he delivers or not

I'm confused as to why this is still a debate why people think its relevant. Tanaka was involved in some great titles, and then he drove 14 right over the cliff. In another day and age, Tanaka and all of his supporters would have had to commit seppuku for this mess.
For the most part, its not like anyone is saying that Yoshi-P is some kind of Eorzean Super Christ that is going around crapping rainbows and showering us all with magical patches that are going to instantaneously make XIV perfect. We are saying that the open communication and tweaks so far seem to be steps in the right direction while the game is rebuilt and give us hope for its recovery.
Regardless, its time to get off the short bus and stop these dumb threads before it gets as retarded as Core in here. People might as well be arguing over who would win an MMA match between Tanaka and Yoshi.
