    Suggestion: Duty Finder Penalty Queue

Something I've begun to see in other games. Basically, instead of penalizing players that drop queue for duty finder, they simply get paired into the same queue system with others that drop. This could last for a period of time while allowing those players to continue playing with other like minded players.

A few details to the system:
    - Players are given a point system towards duty finder, each time they drop then a point is added that will automatically get removed after a 24 hour period.
    - Points are only applied to the first person leaving the group.
    - In the event that the player collects 3 points in any given (24 hour) time period, they will be moved to the "lower" duty finder queue.
    - The player will remain in that tier until the points drops to below 3.
    - Points can still accumulate while in the lower tier (Max 5).

Note: I am undecided on if it would be best to have the time for removing points based on play time or server time, re-balancing would be required if based on play time.

I'm also thinking that since imbalances between classes can easily exist between the tiers, that after 15 minutes of waiting then the queue will temporarily swap to the higher tier. In other words, if a group can not be made, then the lower tier becomes a 15 minute extension to the normal duty finder wait time.

    Thoughts?

Huh, I guess only the stupid/controversial suggestion can get replies...

How about we spicy things up! I'd say we decapitate all characters in the bad queue every Wednesday. Make it a weekly event that can take place in the cities.

What they should do is put a 24 hour lockout on queueing again if you drop once, and 2 weeks if you do it twice within a month! If you somehow do it a 3rd time, they should disable the ability to stop your subscription, while also banning your account at the same time.

    Better?

The truth is, everyone of us that using this fourm are just ordinary players, not a game designers. Not everyone can be Rocket that created DayZ legacy then get recruit by the game company. Trying to be smart doesnt mean you are smart.

No, because then you feel as though you're trapped if you're in a queue with bad people who WON'T leave, forcing you to either tough it out or wait for the time limit to run out.

Didn't Rocket already work for Bohemia Interactive when he designed Day Z? I thought it was a side project of his and now he just has his own devoted team for it.

I'm depressed now knowing how well this actually works...
