Switched to paid service... Square enix charges me a dollar and no subcription????

My free trial is ending soon and I want to resub... However, its been a difficult process so far. I went thru Mog Station to resub and I received no confirmation but my bank account was charged a dollar. Whats going on here? Can anyone shed some light? Why does SE make it so hard to GIVE THEM MONEY....

The dollar charge is a standard practice for a lot of paid services. It is just a "test" charge to ensure that the card is a legitimate card and can indeed be used for payment. The dollar charge will eventually go away (you will get the dollar back). Since the charge was successful you should have no issues when your free time runs out. Once your free time expires your card should be charged automatically and you should have no disruption in service.

I just went to register my credit card information again, I receive no damn confirmation of anything and my bank account is charged again. I STILL HAVE NO SUBCRIPTION... This is the most difficult payment process I have had to go through with any game. I am literally trying to pay square enix money and I cannot even receive any support for my issue...

The second charge is probably due to re-registering the card, which, like the first, should drop off. They won't actually charge your card for the subscription until your free time runs out.
