I've run this dungeon dozens of times over the last few weeks. But last night it seemed much easier than usual. We had a 4th member to our static group, first time though with no DL, and we had no problem downing the bosses, usually when this happens we can win, but it takes a little more effort on our part. Also, another run with a seasoned 4th, we were ahead of our usual pace with trash and bosses. Things just seemed to die quicker.

Possibly, but we didn't change any gear or anything since Friday, and still ran our usual pattern (non speed run) Pudding, and King went down much faster, even with a non geared player. Just seemed odd, not complaining, just wondering.

I consider this a good thing, something was seriously wrong with that AoE and its timing as it was literally the only one in the entire game I could never get out of.

Difficulty hasn't been adjusted that I'm aware of. But a few friends and I like to run this as tank with three dps for fun. Usually no deaths except mine at Tonberry King. Chalk your own ease up to a combination of experience, dungeon itself intended for fresh level 50s, and possible excessive gear requirements on your static members.
