Hi everyone. Another new player to FFXIV. Lol, I've been playing since last week and I am enjoying the game a lot. A couple of questions though, I'm at the point where I would to upgrade the gear on my character (she's an R11 Archer), but Gridania seems to not have a lot of stuff in the Markets. Where would you guys recommend to find better gear and other things? I have started crafting, but still low ranking.

Also I am more of a solo/casual player, but I would like to join a LS that is friendly to both. ^^ I do hope to make some friends on this game and don't mind participating in some group quests. Lol. Thanks and hope to see you in game (I don't have regular log in times because of my schedule.)! My character is a Miqo'te named Akina Ippikiookami.

As for finding items, your best bet is in uldah. That has been our centralized area for business and items for a little while now.
