Not sure how obscure it is, but I remember the first time I tried fishing in the ankle high water around the Aetheryte in Gridania. Not only did it work, about ten other fisherman instantly copied me.

Not that I've found, but I'm still a low level!

While I'm on the subject of fishing in unusual places, I've got a question for any level 50 fisherman.

North of Waking Sands, through the cave, there is a small puddled area. When I tried fishing there before, I got a notification that said something along the lines of "Something is lurking beneath..." I got momentarily excited expecting some special battle, but nothing happened. I couldn't fish there, and nothing else appeared. Has anyone else tried this?

There is a "Fwoosh" sound when Ifrit weapons light up. You have to move your audio position to the character to hear it.

It also happens with BLM Relic, but it's a "lightbulb" sound. I kind of feel like a douche when I keep sheating/unsheating it just to see it light up.

You know the Moogle mail service NPCs (forgot their name)? Stand by one for a while with your headphones on and you can occasionally hear them make a cute little noise.
