I got the level 50 Botanist, similar gear but no materia melded yet. The prices of the Cocoons and Clusters have virtually dropped that most crafters either harvest them for their personal use or stockpile for when the Market Board is favorable. I have seen the price per cocoon drop over 100 gil in just a weeks time, and even the HQ is dropping in price. I don't have Miner high enough yet (just level 33) but the Darksteel is not going as high as it was in the past. The Clusters are starting to be botted on this server, enough to the point I have stopped farming them.

The reason the HQ cocoons and such are dropping real fast is that any crafter that wants to make 2-star gear is SO overpowered that using NQ materials is good enough. If you simply reach the materia caps in your jewelry as a crafter and use the 1-star gear, you can HQ all the Twinthread and Darksteel Nuggets from NQ materials easy.

It doesn't need to be replaced. Ever. And I can say from experience, FC's are handling a lot of this aspect of the game. I make anything and everything I can for FC members. Never looking at market boards.

The gear you made is really pointless.
With JUST the HQ AF, you have enough stats to do unspoiled nodes without issues.
If you bring up your Gathering, you still need to use the 15% skill to get 100%, so the Gathering stat is worthless.
If you bring up your Perception, you will gain very minor amounts of HQ %. Honestly, no good crafter even cares whether the material is HQ or not, it's super easy to HQ with NQ materials.

Just get your GP to 600 so you can use better skill combinations for all types of nodes. It's the only worthwhile option right now, and it's really cheap and doable with GP +2 materias.
