unable to version check and error 2146697211

Just like my header says every time I try to open my client I get the stupid unable to do version check and when I do get lucky and open it I get the 2146697211 system error I have check my internet speed and reset my router and modem and it did not work anyone got anything else I can try?

you can try the ideas thrown around in the unable to complete version check thread, but i had no luck with any of them. of course, the wonderful customer support from se basically told me there's nothing wrong so nothing to resolve. the only thing i have been able to do with the game over the last 4 days is cancel my sub since they undoubtedly can't get it fixed and i'm not paying more for an ongoing issue of over a month.
