Why one earth would I lie? ._. Every time I would socket, I wouldn't keep spam socketing like everyone does and I would get all of my gear socket just fine. When I first started out and I would spam socket then yeah I would loose all my manastones why? because spam socketing is bad.

The enchantment system there is way better. You can socket all of one stat, there's no restrictions, plus there is socketing AND enchanting there. On ALL gear at ALL levels. I've seen way worse systems than Aion, I've played games where you couldn't enchant or socket +2 without buying another item, then if it failed you're entire weapon broke.

If only there's an NPC that can meld materias into our gear for a fee.

I am not gonna level a crafting class or look for a player that can, such a hassle

There needs to be slots in raid quality gear. That way people would be more likley to buy lower level stuff spirit bond it. Making the economy better because more stuff will sell on the markets. Slots in raid gear would allow for more customization.
