Good to know, scary too. I can really wipe it taking a hm primal hit using cover.

I've used it in turn 5 on second pair of snake adds.

i use it when someone pulls hate from me. most trash does physical damage, so it works.
also i use it on slimes on turn 1 when a bard has to spawn it.

I only use cover when I know I lost Argo to a healer or a DD. Even tho cover is for Physical damage only it still helps them. My only problem with cover is that it feel like too short or the cooldown is long for cover.

Only times i ever really use cover are: WP Speed runs on blm/whm, Turn 4 (2spinner rooks/spider phase) and snake phase in turn 5.

The problem with using <tt> is that there's always a chance that the mob will change targets or you're not properly positioned (or the proximity-claustrophobic target) to use it.
Imho it's best to aim down the list manually and until they add in <st> (FFS why are they fixing stupid stuff when half the / and < > commands are missing??) and adding in a ' /p COVER => <t> ' with a se to let the guy running away from you screaming 'HLEP!!' that you intend to use cover and that they should stand still. There's a chance that
My prediction: SE will keep war amazingly devastating in PvP so later down the line you must do lolPvE to get PvP stuff... and that will fix the 'lack of tank' issues. /pets cat.

as a whm I love cover..me and my bro found it useful to combo so I can use holy. Then when cover is gone ill reduce my enmity lvl so he gets hate back.. I love cover![]()
Save me and ill save you.. The bonds of a whm and a pld.
I use a Cover macro on occasion. Except instead of using <t> or <tt> I just put in the party number of the healer (like <2>) at the start of the dungeon. More often than not, I only use it situationally, like the 2nd boss fight in Dzemael Darkhold or the first boss fight in Cutter's Cry (if doing the healer kites add thing); situations where the healer may need to stop moving shortly in order to cast a healing spell.

The best use I've found for it is in Turn 4 of coil. We usually run one or two melees in there and when they engage the solders or knights during the beginning I tend to throw a cover on the monk for example so that I can soak up the AoE damage those guys do.
