Turn 2 - Allagan ROT

In my group I'm the only melee DPS for this turn. We do it this way and it has been working well for us for almost 2 months of clears:



Everyone uses Focus Target on the person they get rot from so they can pay attention and know if they need to get closer to help pass (like if a laser or gravity well forces someone to move or to get slowed).

We tried stack method early on but didn't really like it since we were already ok with the pictured formation and stacking is risky for lasers.

This is how my group also does it, with me as black mage taking the position of the bard in the top right. We also go the right route though because of 2 magic users. So although we have to deal with firestream and chain lightning on ADS instead of ballast and gravity well, its essentially the same.

I also used same positionship , but from left to right BLM , SCH , BRD , WHM , BRD . we using left route .

This is close to what my static uses. But we have three brds and a blm (The only turn we use all ranged). Though we did run this with drg in the blm slot before and it worked just as well. We usually place the sch in the center of the cycle and have the whm on the side. We like to avoid using melee because there is no risk of the tanks getting rot.

If the inside tank runs out for repelling cannon when I'm crossing the room, there is a chance they'll pick rot up from me but that's rare and if it happens the BRD just moves in and picks it up from tank. It happens now and then but only caused a wipe the first time.
