
I agree with the spirit of your OP. Final Fantasy 14 needs more interesting variety. Especially in the class/job arena. But in other things as well, such as armor, secondary job options ect.1 new class per expansion... Ugh..
XI had at least two new jobs per expansion and pumped out content like crazy.
Since this game is as much as a WoW clone as you can get nowadays I hope they don't also clone the expansion routine.
"Level up to 60! 1 new class: Musketeer with one new job: Corsair! One new zone! One new dungeon!"
How about no.
Most expansions gave 3 new jobs in XI.
Hell, this game needs more jobs. XI began with 12 and that game was released more than 10 years ago, that's a lot more than this game has. Over three years SE added...... two. Two new jobs. Wow.
