Bard relic weapon (harp only for show)

Don't know if it just me or did anyone else notice... We bard got a relic weapon that is cross between a bow/harp but we never use it for any songs. When we play a song we put our weapon away and magically a harp appears out of nowhere in our hands... Why dun we get an animation where we use our relic weapon as a harp.. Would be awesome if we can.. and it make sense since our weapon can transform between a harp and a bow.

I don't like Artemis--too top heavy to me--, but I agree... An animation like that would be cool!

If you really look at the Artemis Bow you will see that the way it is constructed pretty much precludes any actual functionality as a harp. It has a crossbeam right through the string section which would effectively negate any tension on the strings which would make it impossible to actually tune.

Just more proof that Akihiko Yoshida, while a great artist, is a horrible engineer.

Frankly the bow/harp is a travesty of design and the sooner we can out level it and forget it exists the better.

If we can out level it... It's pretty much the Best bow atm unless you can get the allagan bow or until we get new ilvl 100 weapons which won't be happening anytime soon.

Hi everyone, I'd like to point you to the most interesting bow in the game...

unfortunately I threw it away T.T

There was a bow, um, it was either just a normal white item or a pink item, that you got in a dungeon sometime before stone vigil (I remember because I replaced it with the gigantic and awesome shadow bow), that actually was a normal bow, but with a spot to hook your harp onto.

So it actually made sense that you could have both out at the same time, and you would just put your bow away to play the harp.

Honestly the best looking bow is the shadow bow, I believe it drops from Stone Vigil. Slicker design than primals and relic.

I'm not much fan of the look on Artemis either. The way it functions is ok when you draw/sheath the bow. The new bow from the Lightning event looks awesome. Wouldn't mind using that. :3

It looks nice, but sadly the bow and the notching mechanism don't sync up T.T

So it looks pretty on your back but kinda odd when you're fighting/have it out.

I guess the same goes for the artemis bow too, though at least that one has a nice folding animation.

Speaking of which, the sword has a reallly neat folding animation too.

Also! I wanted to point yall to the harpbow in Path of Exile:



Thats what a harp bow should look like! Plus it should play different notes while you shoot different arrow skills, maybe play a song!
