    A friend spotted it off the beach just south of Costa Del Sol. I think it's Castrum Marinum, but I'm not 100% sure.

    I think that's actually the Wolves Den, the PvP area due in 2.1. It's located off of the coast of Vylbrand, so perhaps that's it?

    That's actually the large lighthouse in Western Thanalan. The object to the direct left is Ul'dah.



    You can see Vylbrand from Thanalan as well, which I circled in red.

    Oooh, yeah! I thought it was something close to Silver Bazaar, but forgot if there were any tall structures there.

    Being an MMO world, the distance from biome to biome is pretty short. I'm glad the distance from coast to coast reflects the scale.
