Why is there still so much to do at end game?

I mean seriously guys, I got from level 0 to level 50 and beat the story and now I am at end game.

Why so many people complain there is little to do at end game is beyond me. And i've been playing almost every day.

How are you only just up to doing this. I have 3 character in Full DL gear , Relic +1 , cleared Hard mode. Doing all that stuff is you mentioned is childs play People cleared all that within the first 2 weeks on multiple characters
Coil is the only real end game . Clearly you are not a hardcore player and have no idea about how bad this game is

And yet he doesn't go on the forums insulting anyone who doesn't think the game is doomed. I've seen you do the same thing in other threads. You're like the opposite of a white knight (dark knight?), raging and insulting players and devs who don't agree with you instead of just leaving a game and community you clearly don't enjoy anymore.

It's okay not liking the game, it's okay to post criticism, but just posting insults all day long while foaming from the mouth it's both meaningless and uncalled for.

Once everyone accepts this game has issues and agree that the DEVS dont care then ill be happy.
Have you ever seen a dev post in the forums saying , oh hey i see people are raging about this we will fix it. NO
Have you ever seen a dev post in the foums saying anything constructive to aissist players . NO
When you talk to a dev if you get a responce its always negative.

And i dont mean to be insulting just FYI. Im actually just presenting the facts. and not being a total carebear about it. Cause someone has to stand up and announce the serious issues FFXIV has.

Oh we do, they're just not as bad as doomsayers make them look. Sure, you can go from 1-50 in two days grinding FATEs for 12 hours a day, that's no fun (and probably not the way the game was meant to be played). I mean, power level in the dullest possible way and then complain that grinding FATEs is boring like someone's MAKING you do it? I've seen a lot of that over here.

And the devs have posted several times about certain issues. You can't expect them to provide the same answers over and over.

Nah, you're presenting your opinion as fact. For example:

Hardcores are not the majority. So no, the game may be a fail to the people who play the way you do, but your opinion (which you're entitled to) does not represent most of the playerbase.

You know, I think it's time we re-think the definition of 'hardcore' and 'casual'. Seems to me that the players that blast their way to DL+Relic in 3/4 days and whine about nothing to do are not very 'hardcore' since once their feeding frenzy is over their playing hours drop like a stone and their whining hours rise like a Tsunami. Just like locusts they have stripped the food supply bare and are now starving because of their own greed.

On the other hand players who take their time, inhabit the game world, role play, chat, socialize and generally speaking play in the alternate universe Eorzea supplies seem to me to be a lot more 'hardcore', since they will continue to support this game for months and years to come. While the 'casual' locusts have moved to another source of food to exhaust in days.

I saw someone earlier in the thread deride the idea that people might actually role play - IN A ROLE PLAYING GAME!? The sentiment was that 'hardcores' wouldn't do that, only 'casuals' would.

Well it seems to me that 'hardcor'e RPG players are the ones that inhabit the world and make a long term commitment to playing their character in this world, where as the 'casuals' are the once who feed on the content like locusts, power leveling their way to DL+relic in a week or less and then switch to playing their myth cap once a week in a few hours. I mean in the long term, the 'hardcore' players are the ones here every day, the ones still playing the same character in 6 months, the ones helping the new players, the ones who actually enjoy the game and commit to it. The 'casuals' are the ones who's interest is only superficial and drifts once their feeding frenzy is at an end.

Pretty much this. People defending the game in its current state don't realize they are hurting it in the long run more then helping it.

If you having fun doing the same 2 instances over and over and enjoying a slow as combat system with next to no progression and looking the same with no vanity system on release then sure you can have derp fun.
You would think that ppl would wake up . I mean cmon you have to admit. With the amount of hate this game gets in the forums you think at least 1 of the 100s of issues raised would have been addressed. But alas... NO
