I look forward to returning in the future when reports are good. This isn't what I subscribe for, I want to enjoy the game and partake in the content. To have a screen unfreeze to find out I'm dead isn't value for money.

One idea that I have not read elsewhere. Given the emergency maintenance to remove the packet id injection that cost people zillions of gil in fraudulent transactions (it's just a big database really?). Can the lag problems be botting RMT's throwing oddles of packets at the servers and possibly the ISP seeing it as a DDoS attack and blackholing that traffic. You never know.
