It would appear I have forum post to provide feedback. strange. In game support also points to forum posting.

Anyhow, two days left on subscription and I will not be renewing until I read about maintenance helping to reduce massive amounts of lag. Forum posts, reddit and even ISP forums will not identify the issue with finger pointing between SE pipes in Canada and throttling ISP's elsewhere.

In an effort to make the game more responsive I have removed all graphical options available to me on a PS3. I do not even show my own animations. I have port forwarded and have wired the beast as well as ensuring this is the only device connected to the router.

Four dungeons completed for the story missions and they were trouser filling events for both me and the parties. I spend my time crafting & gathering, very slowly. On a plus note, I do report a lot of RMT cause fates with more than four people are murderous as well.

I look forward to returning in the future when reports are good. This isn't what I subscribe for, I want to enjoy the game and partake in the content. To have a screen unfreeze to find out I'm dead isn't value for money.

One idea that I have not read elsewhere. Given the emergency maintenance to remove the packet id injection that cost people zillions of gil in fraudulent transactions (it's just a big database really?). Can the lag problems be botting RMT's throwing oddles of packets at the servers and possibly the ISP seeing it as a DDoS attack and blackholing that traffic. You never know.

Have fun y'all. Might be back in the future, might purchase a game that satisfies without lagging big time.

I feel victim to really bad lag and connection speeds in Aion when that first launched, there was only some of us with the problem so the community at large didn't think there was a problem and NCsoft was in no hurry to fix it. So I left. I never went back.

And I'm posting this to tell you it sucks to be in your position and my sympathies are with you, it's truly disappointing when you want to enjoy a game you've waited for and you just can't find the joy in it because of how slooooooooow the connection is or worse if you keep disconnecting. I hope something is done relatively soon.

D) It is your internet. I have 1 mbps download (Same boat as you) and when I go to my cousin's house (who literally has 10x the speed I do) Almost all lag is eliminated.
E) No one cares.

Basically, don't come on here announcing to us that you are upset because your internet speed isn't acceptable and you refuse to pay. Telling us why does nothing. Do you just want attention? The problem is definitely on SE's end, not his computer or internet connection. I have a 100mbps cable and this is the only game with massive delay and lagspikes. WTFast helps a lot but it's kinda stupid to be forced to pay sub for both the game and WTFast.
