A Relic Reborn (Spherai) Abandoned

Hi all,
I apologize in advance if this does not fall into this sub forum.

I was leveling new sub job and decided to delete some old Leve quests. As I was going down the list, deleting quests, selector jumped to the top of my list and selected my relic quest - deleting it.
I made some good progress on the quest, but to my dismay it appears now it wants me to start from the beginning. I understand it's my own fault for not paying enough attention. However glancing at GM Call FAQ there is a restore option for items. I contacted them, but their response was to post here. So here I am.

Is there any option I haven't explored or should I just suck it up and start over?

Firstly, I think you would have to post in the technical support forums rather than here. Secondly, I think they're just going to give you a blanket statement telling you you're screwed and essentially you're going to have to start over.

Well the abandon option worked as designed, so I don't think it a technical issue. You're right, I already contact GM Call and they gave me a response that nothing can/will be done regarding this. I almost wish some quests were locked from accidental deletion, but that might create other hassles.

I was just exploring all options before I start it over and create a discussion thread if someone ran into similar situation.
Maybe GM Call can create a quest restore option or restore quest items - in my case x2 Savage Aim III materia (100k value at this time). But that's a long shot!

In my experience GMs normally NEVER restore lost items.

Hey there, same exact thing happened to me for WHM relic. Cursor defaults back to the top of the list which happened to be relic quest. All i needed to do was beat Titan

You'll have to go back and talk to Gerolt, and start all over
