I always see them flying, what's the deal? They can't fly around like a real birds do because of coding.
I guess I just ain't bother by stuff like this in a video game, it is a mob in the game you fight it has to follow the ruleset of the world.

But why can't they fly around like real birds? Why? What excuse can you realistically give other than laziness? You cite "coding" as a reason, and you're correct. That's exactly what it is: poor coding.
Other MMOs have realistically flying birds. They only come down to eye level when you shoot them down.
I don't see why you think this is beyond SE's abilities.

And how exactly would you propose that you FIGHT these realistically flying birds? Smack them once in a while as they swoop by your head? You'd be lucky to get the damn thing targeted, much less hit it. Some birds in real life are capable of hovering... The species of bird in the game happens to also be capable of hovering. Deal with it.But why can't they fly around like real birds? Why? What excuse can you realistically give other than laziness? You cite "coding" as a reason, and you're correct.
