To be fair, it's getting all that so called 'new' content because a great deal of it was already taken out of launch. If anything, a lot of that is the illusion of new stuff that should have been there from the start.ITT: people who joined older MMOs years into their development incorrectly assume those MMOs launched with insane amounts of content and use that as a flawed basis for negative comparison with FFXIV:ARR without understanding/acknowledging ARR actually launched with more content than virtually any other MMO in recent memory, while simultaneously conveniently ignoring that a fair chunk of new content will be added in a major patch just a few months after launch (which, again, is quite an improvement over the majority of MMO releases)
So far I have been 2 months into the game, since mid September because SE halt sales at release.
Yes indeed, getting slightly bored with the current endgame, not going to mention my progress else i will sound like elitist. To be honest crafting is quite interesting, but harvesting/mining/fishing got me bored sometimes.
Now my current goal is to generate Gil but I get sleepy real quick as I repetitively craft or gather stuffs. Need more action!
Decided to help to carry newbies(for free) eventually by doing titan/garuda/ifrit HM for some real kick. Yeah, and this really helped. Got addicted to titan HM cause the challenge for me is somehow on par with turn 1 or 2 BC boss.
To summarize it, Endgame is indeed lacking somewhere but I just don't know where to say it, just the feel of not feeling the hype to play this game anymore shows sign of lack-of-endgame. Setting a new goal is good like making 50 million gils or help every newbie to get their relic is fine, but if you are the type of person who wants lots of action and challenge, then crafting/gathering to become gillionaire is not going to change anything.

We do turn 5 for like 8 hours straight, it's awesome and i don't feel bored.
