PS4 account?

Does anyone know how if I will need the same PSN account and ID on my PS4 that I have my ff14 account linked to on my PS3? I have had the same name on my PS3 for like 7 years and I dont like it anymore and when I hook up my PS4 I wanted to create a new account with a new name so I can ditch my old PS3 name. Im just worried that I have to continue using the same account and I'll have to keep my PSN ID that I dont like.

Yes, you'll be able to use the same PS Account. No name changes will be given to a PS account afaik.

1 PSN account per SE Service Account. Sorry, you're stuck with your PSN Name.

form what i have been reading,
if you have the ps3 version, then the ps4 version is a FREE upgrade (your ps3 game key, becomes your ps4 game key)
so
when you do upgrade to the ps4 version, to play the ps3 version you will need to REBUY it fort the ps3

Would be stupid, once you own the PS3 version, you can use it whenever you want. Once you'll get the PS4 upgrade, you can freely play on either of them.
