I will ultimately wait until it's implemented before I officially congratulate them. With that being said, everything they are talking about doing I wholeheartedly support... (minus the dumb hate meter >_>)

Hey it takes a lot of hours to make the changes we demand. Perhaps to help the Devs out they could put up a sticky thread for suggestions and take a tally for the ones that have the biggest demand. Keep up the good work folks!
if they do this I would like to chime in with 2. FF canon names (Lancer - dragoon, Thaumaturge - Red Mage, Pugilist - Thief) and... Simple but useful starter recipes for the DoH's (eg: Alchemist being able to make a 100hp potion to start)

Alchemists should have been able to make potions from the start. lol I guess that would have destroyed the need to have a healer though.Hey it takes a lot of hours to make the changes we demand. Anyways, i hope they continue to work hard on FFXIV and never give up on it. If the new SE MMO isn't an Ivalice world, try making FFXIV into something very similar. D: The main reason i play FFXIV is because I really really love Akihiko Yoshida's art style, and I love the armor design, etc.
a positive thing about it being released in alpha is the fact that the community will have a major influence in the finished product.

Not always a positive thing you know...
If the devs listen too much it can completely destroy a game. Look at what happened with Star Wars Galaxy. Most players don't know whats good for them after all. As long as the devs are able to properly sort out the gems from the crap, player input will likely make the game stronger than any other on the market
If only people think how you think Leo... and understood why its taking so long, ( which its finally coming this summer) " Good things come for those who wait" Yoshi-P said, and I quite frankly believe in him, and give the guy less stress on his mind by not becoming a complainer, gives him one less person to worry about barking down his throat, when the poor man is going as fast as he can. I rather have quality and quantity and give the guy time.. and for 3-4 months and doing alot of stuff over the Summer to make this game great.
I believe in Yoshi-P, and when 2 years or even 1 years goes by will look back and laugh how immature we all were ( including me) and how we complained so much ( I rarely do because I believe in them)
We have the dice in our hands to give out ideas to Yoshi-P, and its up to him to throw that lucky 7 and deal out the Content![]()

I'm hoping the devs continue to listen to us but take all suggestions with a grain of salt. Look at it from the standpoint of what's good for the game, not what people are currently whining about. If it would make the game better, do it. If people are just being stupid and whining (as they often do) leave it out.

Yes it doesn't take 1 night people! It also doesnt take 9 months.
PS. Alpha/Beta barely changed anything. If you read anything other than General there you'd realise everything we're asking for now, we asked for over a year ago, and some of it we still have not got.

I'm trying to get support but I've been on hold for over 9 months....
