Internal Release ability description:

"Increases critical hit rate by 20%.
Duration: 15s"

Internal Release does not update the "Critical Hite Rate" value in the Attributes tab in the Character menu when activated.

Steps:

1) Open the Character Menu.
1.1) Observe the "Critical Hit Rate" numerical value.
2) Activate "Internal Release" ability.
2.1) Observe no change to the "Critical Hit Rate" numerical value for the duration of Internal Release.

It doesnt raise your crit value stat. It raises your crit by a flat 20%.
