Should be able to collect reward from quest you've done

Am I the only one annoyed by the fact that quests a couple of levels above you can be done perfectly, but you still can't collect your reward until you reach that lvl? Either lock the quest until we reach the proper lvl, or let us collect the reward for the work we've done, without having to grind ahead to get it.

Say I'm lvl 30 with my main class, and it's the highest leveled class I own. I pick up a quest and do it, all the time with my lvl 30. Then I return to the quest giver for the rewards, STILL with my lvl 30. But then it turns out I can't turn in the quest until I'm, say, lvl 32.

So what I mean is; don't let us pick up that quest until we are lvl 32. And of course only turn it in with a class of the appropriate lvl.

so you basically want them to allow you to take a lvl50, unlock a bunch of 45-50 quests, then switch to a lvl1 and power level it to 20+ for little to no work at all? nope. not gonna happen. the system now is perfect in that aspect. you want to get rewarded for it? be the level it took you to get it. simple as that.

Strange, but for me this is how it already works. Are you sure you don't have a higher level class, perhaps one of your crafters or gatherers?

I've got a lvl 32 BLM, and the only class higher is my GSM at 33. (forgot my GSM in OP) This has happened several times, and yesterday I was in Costa del Sol, picking up a quest as BLM. Ran straight off and did it, returned and couldn't hand it in. :/ A bug, perhaps...?

Unless my GSM allowed me to pick up the quest, even if I did while BLM was equipped?

Yep quests are unlocked as long as one of your classes is of the appropriate level. Kind of stupid to include DoH/DoL classes since there are barely any quests for those classes.

An archenist can complete a quest 5 lvls ahead of them with little to no difficulty. I think placing a cap on how far ahead of 5 levels max you can turn in a quest.

I've had this issue with my 1st class. I was trying to do quests on the 46-49 grind and I was able to take the quests, yet when I finished I couldn't turn in until a handful of lvls later.
