Not sure if this was mentioned before or not, but a lot of the tooltips are pretty misleading. One that has really been bugging me for a while is raging strikes...

Raging Strikes says it increases your damage by 20%. Great, so does that mean it works with both melee and casters? Let's test it out! When you use it, the actual buff icon tells you attack power is increased. Going to your menu reveals that attack power "affects amount of damage dealt by physical attacks." So, does Raging Strikes work with casters? Probably not, right? I mean, the icon says only attack power (physical attacks). Buuuuut... it's been tested (and anyone can plainly see if you watch the numbers) that Raging Strikes works with all types of damage... not just melee, and yet the buff says melee specifically. If you cast magic dots with Raging Strikes on, you CANNOT overwrite the spell until it has worn off (thus proving empirically that a raging strikes dot is more powerful than a normal one).

A few tooltips have been wrong for a bit now. Just follow the skill description Infact Raging Strikes description just says "Increases damage dealt by 20%."

It's the same as Disgaea. If you have a ninja below 25% of his health he only has like a 25% chance of being hit, you also have a 25% chance of hitting him with a heal.

PS. I have tested with just me on SCH/WHM with a Paladin and would like to ask the server to report their findings if I can get many players to test it out there will be a large sample size pool to pull from.
Post this in the bug report forum and follow the proper format for reporting bugs and SE will investigate it.

This seems like an oversight, I can't imagine it's intended.

Agreed. I refuse to believe that not being able to receive critical heals is intended for this ability.

Really, its still correct. Healing is negative damage. If something has over 100% resistance, that damage will become negative, healing the target. (So Physick is actually an attack that has -400 potency)

I would still consider it an unintended side effect of utilizing an existing system the way they did if this is indeed the case.

Oh look. It's Sephirah almost derailing another thread with misinformation. *eats popcorn*

Anyway, good catch though. That's a severe oversight that needs to be addressed.

Now can you do an extensive report in the bug section ? So that, you know, actually work on fixing it.
