Out of curiosity, why doesn't Eye for an Eye work on turn 2 of coil?
It does work. Just fine might I add.
This exactly. Why I asked. I have used it several times and not once has it triggered on the nodes or the ADS.
They could be immune to the debuff. I know dropping Shadow Flare doesn't apply it's slow effect to a lot of enemies in Coil. Same goes for Blind on Caduceus.
I gave up trying to use it in T2 (don't think I ever seen it proc), just use it for T4 dreadnaughts and twin.
I haven't seen it either. It could either be because the ADS and nodes hit slowly, but I think the reason could be that it's hits aren't counted as physical and/or it is counted as an ability and Eye for an Eye only proc from physical dps.
It's probably to do with how ADS and the nodes attack, you can't block or parry their attacks either. I'd say all their attacks are magical and Eye for an Eye just doesn't work on those.
I thought it works against magical attacks. The description says there is a % chance it will apply to an enemy whenever the magical barrier is struck. I'm thinking turn two ADS are immune to debuffs?
The nodes don't attack quickly, and it seems like their attacks don't qualify as hits to trigger the proc. This could be just RNG randomness, but I can also personally report never seeing the effect trigger on the boss, even though we keep a rotation of it up in all our groups just in case.
