Show when friends come online

Hello, thank you for these forums and a way to get our opinions heard.

Can you please show a popup when people from our friendslist come online, at the moment it's very hard to keep track of players especially if they don't play often anymore. Checking the friendslist just at the time they are online makes us often miss them.

While I don't think its a high priority over some other things, I never did think about having a message when friends come online. This is something I would like to see sometime down the road.

if implemented, it would make it impossible to "sneak on" and adjust your retainer or knock out some crafts before people realize you are there....

Yes, It would be nice knowing when my friends come on or go offline. A simple chime would do great too!

I'd like to see this implemented for both friend lists and linkshells. Regularly checking the friend list to see who is online is frustrating, as is being unable to tell if somebody has disconnected or just isn't talking.

(And I think the feedback/suggestions area is meant for the forum and site, rather than the game itself, unless somebody knows differently?)
