I have a job, I have a family, I have responsibilities, and i have atleast 1 level 50 character. Since you are making assumptions about everyone, how about i make one about you. Put down the booze long enough to level.

I currently have the item for the 45 quest but cant get the quest or hand it in due to being a lvl 2 low, kinda dumb really considering if i have the item i should be able to finish the quest since obviously the content wasn't as tough as they thought, fricking hate gated content in mmorpg's for these sorts or reasons...if i can finish the event a quest is tied to i should be able to hand the quest in its dumb forcing me to wait especially for a reward that's entirely vanity based...guess i'll have to go do garuda and some fates untill the stupid npc decides im good enough to speak to![]()

They way I see it if the rewards are lvl 13 the quests should be lvl 13 as well.
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever that you need to complete increasingly higher level quests for such low lvl gear.

Not really, it could be gear for players who have one 50 and are leveling other classes but don't want to fill their inventory/A.Chest with sets of items for each class (or want to have fun with gearing up). It's not really too vanity based, depending on your class it has some pretty decent stats (for its level).
It does if you consider this to be "vanity gear" thanking ARR players who've put in X amount of hours (and sub fees) into the game. Sure we get the 30/60/90-day items too, but not every event needs to be for every level. It creates some incentive and encourages leveling for some fun/quirky rewards.
It'll happen again in February, and you'll probably have a 45/50 by then (although we'll probably also see a repeat of this thread too I bet).

Sorry, but that makes no sense. What does any of that have to do with how quests should've been lvl 13?Not really, it could be gear for players who have one 50 and are leveling other classes but don't want to fill their inventory/A.Chest with sets of items for each class (or want to have fun with gearing up). Again this makes no sense either, first you say it isn't vanity gear, now you say it kinda is, but none of that has anything to do with why quests are higher level than 13 when all the rewards are lvl 13. It would be like making lvl 15 dungeon gear drop not from the 3 lvl 15 dungeons, but having one piece dropping on increasingly higher level dungeons just because.
It just makes no sense whatsoever.
Agreed.
It should not make it any easier to be obtained, due to level sync on fates, so I don't see why people are so convinced it should be an event for people level 40+.

uh...then they aren't limited and the reward is just another piece of garbage e very single player will have making it nothing special, so why even do it in the first place? I suppose if it was tht way, no one would see the reason for doing it thus making those who choose to do actually have a unique item?? Im not lv enough to do it all, I will be in feb, actually bummed they are gonna let it repeat...tho I can now finish it up, I like uniqueness, being cookie-cutter makes it very boring, new players will see some cool items with particle effects or whatever down the road, and think its cool that there are events awarding items that are unique, at least I for one have never seen an item in an mmo that was unique or special and not thought it was cool,
Its pure silliness to desire everyone to have every item, in that case why even require anything at all to obtain gear, just let every character have every item in their wardrobe and let them wear it at will?

I want a goobbue mount like crazy, but that will never happen because that was LIMITED and I never earned it back in 1.0. but who cares?
you said it yourself. it's LIMITED. that means not everyone will be able to get it. owning the game doesn't entitle you to it. you still have to earn it.
