Make Phoenix downs more common.

Why are Phoenix downs a rare item? I've gotten one from a quest and never seen another. It seems stupid to me, I mean raise is level 12 in this (before you do a single dungeon where you might have a use for raise). Not like you can use them on yourself or in battle to make them more effective than raise or anything. It just seems pointless to make them rare. Please make Phoenix downs sell from potion vendors for maybe 1k or something. I know they're useless but it just seems stupid and wasteful for you to get one from a quest and then never again...

+ it would be nice to have the chance to get your healer up after battle if they die somehow without having to waste a cross class spot, and even better for the jobs that don't even have access to raise at all from cross class.

The AH is full of them for like 200g. The issue with them is that they're unique, so you can only carry one.

In almost every case for dungeons it's simpler to just Return and not eat the weakness penalty. In the field all you lose from returning is time or gil to get back to where you were.

You can't even use Phoenix Down during battle. Would be kind of OP if anyone had a pocket raise mid-battle instead of just WHM/SCH/SMN.

There's actually 3 obtainable in game. There's a sidequest in each of La Noscea, Thanalan and The Shroud that gives you one. And while you can only hold one, so can each of your retainers. But those are the only 3 i've found.
