Suggestion on character's look / Spryte new set of equiment menu

I think FF14 ARR need serious diversification in term of look/spryte. I can't just imagine having to see everyone running around looking alike in every corner of the world.
since the lightning lauch event, where you could get some cool looking gear/weapon.Will I ever used such a silly weapon during a fight? Actually I'll never really get a chance to use that bow in the entire life. I'm kinda sick of looking at my BRD with the same equipment it gets insanely boring.

I suggest to add a costume feature which let us wear a new armor gear as a spryte/Look only but retain the main gear stats if your wearing all DarkLight gear. That way we will see many different looking character.

Need another set of equipment just for the "look" purposes.

I did read over some future patch but I have never seen this topic though =/
and patch 2.2 I feel it will be like too far away. like 8 month from here ?

I agree with Kayrie. We do need weapon and armor customization ASAP. Call it whatever u prefer :wardrobe,skins... There are some epic looking gear sets in this game but cant use them coz of stats and ilvl. I love AF set on my paladin but hate DL "tin".Fortunately got almost all AF2 now but BiS suggest me to put some allagan set pieces on which looks not so bad but can't compare to artifact set. My first character in this game was Dragoon mostly created for AF Dragoon set .If i start mixing set pieces on these 2 toons they gonna look like beggars wearing whatever they found .Having that in patch 2.2 doesnt satisfy anyone because its far far away .I also know I can drop awesome looking set in Brayflox but what's the point? What is the point to take part in event and get nice looking gear set and weapon if I can only wear them while talking to my retainer .
