Yeah... The icon thing seems like a really weird thing for Squee to get hung up on... which means it's probably exactly why they did it. *sigh* Wrong decision on their part. :/ I do agree that an exchange system would be a good, easy fix.

It'd be easy to just call it "Summer Top" "Summer Bottoms".

And for the lightning event "Curious Body" & "Curious Legs" etc. where the actual 3D model would change depending on the gender just like any other piece of gear in the game does.

Seems completely pointless to have them separated for any reason, even for creating names/icons it'd be an easy way to work around that.

Honestly I think games should just go Saints Row, we live in a pretty liberal time, if men want to wear lightning's outfit, why not, if women want snow's coat, why not?

SQUARE ENIX, PLEASE ALLOW US TO EXCHANGE GENDER SPECIFIC ITEMS FOR THE OTHER GENDER.

If I'm rewarded for being sub'ing since launch and I have exclusive items, don't let them rot in my inventory. If you are providing us the option to change genders you should also have some way to exchange gender specific sets. I don't want the Lightning set anymore as I'm a male character now... give me a way to get Snow's set so I can actually use it!

Community Reps, please pass these requests for gender-unlocking event items on to the developers. Just knowing that it could be fixed later down the line would be enough!

This is now at the point where the event has returned, and there still appears to be no way to repeat the quest, exchange the items or otherwise obtain the opposite gender to what we may already have.

Sigh.. how much sway does the NA REGION have on the developers? Might there be a Japanese counter part to this thread? If not, could someone make one?

Not a half-bad idea, i'll see if I can find someone to link to this thread, then translate it for the JP forums.
But it'll be a similar circumstance with Community Reps > Developers.

The developers have agreed to do it, but ONLY if I get enough support (ie views, likes and replies on the OP).
