The stuff you people whine about is incredible.

It's not a whine.

It's a request. There's a huge difference. I'm not demanding, I've asked and they said they'll do it if there's enough support.

Stick to one gender, enjoy the game and the gear you get for it.

I do enjoy the game, but the game offered 2x Phials of Fantasia for free, rendering your point completely moot, therefore leading to the obvious point of why they should offer a way to exchange items are are gender locked considering they all have an opposite counter-part, it only makes sense.

It's value and worth as an in-game item is subjective to each person. It might not matter to you, but a lot of us enjoy the event items, even just for vanity purposes, seeing as that some of these are unique event items that won't be available soon it'd be a shame to have them go to waste simply because you used what you were given.

The devs shouldn't have to cater to you filp floppers every time a new event comes out and you feel the need to switch your character all around to wear gear that doesn't even matter.

You're right, they don't have to do anything, no-one is forcing them to do anything this is a request, and they said they'll do it. So that point is moot too.

I didn't whine, I requested and they answered 'Yes if enough people want it'.
If you want something added to the game you request it, which I've done and LOW AND BEHOLD, they said they'd do it. Funny how that works, eh?

It's worth pointing out that there is apparently a male version of the Lightning outfit in FFXIII (someone linked it earlier in this very thread, IIRC), so they already have those assets.

Yup! There's a male character in-game who has a Guardian Corps outfit, however sadly no counter part for Snows Bohemian get-up.
