Gender Locked Items (Lightning Edition)

Just here to add my voice to the crowd - I really want an NPC that will swap my gear if I swap genders, along with the option for name changes. I haven't used my free Fantasia for this reason.

I changed from female Miqo'te to male Miqo'te and can't use the yukata from 2012 now.
If I change back to female Miqo'te, I would not can wear all the other gender-locked gears I earned in ARR.

It make me very sad.


why exist the yukatas in separate versions for each gender? Both gender versions are to 90% the same models.




SE already removed the race-lock from the underwears and changed it that the underwear just change the showing model for each race. It should be no problem to do the same with the gender-lock.

This was my original problem, I had a Ladys Yukata that was sitting un-used when there was already an exchange NPC "The Calamity Salvager" they could've added it too.

I'm just going to hold on to mine for now. It's possible the change may be part of the vanity system coming soon.

Yeah I'm pretty upset myself. Changed to female not long ago and hoped I could get Lightning's outfit

So disappointed. I honestly thought that a repeat event would reflag the quests so we could do them again. Wasted that Fantasia -_-

I'm all for a npc to swap items =/ I sent in a ticket ages ago asking if they were planning this or if I could get a gm or something to switch my swimsuits and lightning items... /sigh

Sadly too late for the event, however not too late to make an exchange system. The gear won't be going anywhere, would be rather easy to set up an exchange.

They'll do it, but they'll count it towards your "One time item restoration".

I hope there's a way to exchange...even if it's only a one-time exchange. I was a miqo'te female during the event, but decided to go back to being a male lalafell afterwords, and for some reason, I was assuming that I'd be able to repeat the quests (Silly me). After smacking myself in the forehead, I was quite sad to hear there doesn't appear to be a way to exchange my female gear for male gear...which saddens me...it means poor Mini will never have that awesome Jacket.

*sigh* But there's plenty of other cool gear in the game, I suppose. He's just going to have to live with the fact that he's a perverted little lalafell that keeps women's clothing in his inn room.
